THE TRADES

Metal Fabrication
Students will learn all aspect of metal fabrication alongside people who have years of experience.
They will also use this skill to serve the community & create items to sell in "The Bus" our schools mercantile store front.

Carpentry
From building a wall, to finishing cutting boards, and everything in between, student will learn the ins and outs of woodworking.

They will also use this skill to serve the community & create items to sell in "The Bus" our schools mercantile store front.

Leather Work
Alongside an instructor, students will learn how to take genuine leather and make beautiful custom pieces for the community, themselves, the animals, and so much more.

These items will be available for custom order & be for sale in our mercantile teaching further communication and accountability skills.

Gardening
To get back to nature and get our hands dirty students will learn many gardening techniques in their very own space. Through aquaponics, permaculture, and more we will learn to be more self-sufficient and hands on with our food and the planet.

Vehicle Maintenance
Students will learn the basics and beyond of vehicle maintenance and repairs in our shop. This will be another way we serve the community and raise funds for the ministry while learning life skills that will last a lifetime.

Cooking & Food Preservation
From the garden, to the kitchen, to the store house students will be involved in learning how to prepare and preserve foods. Learning new recipes and the gift of hospitality so we can all continue to gather around the table together.

Agriculture
Cows, horses, chickens are all apart of our current agriculture at 10:10. Our students learn animal care, ag maintenance, and responsibility while helping care for these animals during the school year. These animals also provide food needs for students, families, and the community.

We are always a "yes" to Jesus so we are always looking to add trades and skills to our ministry.
All of the trades taught at 10:10 will have life long impact. Students will learn life skills and to be more self-sufficient, responsible, servant-hearted, thankful, community minded, and so much more.
